Scan up to six mice at one time with the InAlyzer2 DEXA system

Micro Photonics and Medikors (the manufacturer of the InAlyzer2 DEXA scanner) have partnered with Somni Scientific to create a unique manifold (one, three, or six-way mouse anesthesia splitter) as an accessory to the InAlyzer2 DEXA instrument.

The new manifolds offer these benefits:

SAFE for Animals and Staff:

  • Hyerbranched – equal anesthesia dose to each port prevents awakening or overdosing
  • Self-Scavenging — Integrated vacuum ring eliminates harmful waste gas exposure (NIOSH 2ppm limit) to staff members.
  • Ergonomic — Animals lay in natural position.

Engineered for X-ray:

  • No X-ray obstruction: Open top design does not block the mouth or head.
  • High Throughput: Scan up to 6 mice at one time.
  • Efficient: Hyperbranching enables lower flow rates relative to linear manifolds, thus reducing total reagent cost.
