Custom Manifolds
Up to six mice can be scanned in 28 seconds with this custom manifold. Micro Photonics has partnered with Somni Scientific to create a unique manifold (one, three, or six-way mouse anesthesia splitters) as an accessory to the InAlyzer2 DEXA instruments, and to provide comprehensive anesthesia and scavenger system options to our DEXA customers.
Equal anesthesia doses are distributed to each port, and the manifolds are self-scavenging, eliminating harmful waste gas exposure to staff. With the open top design, the mouth or head are not blocked. The manifolds are easy to install and operate seamlessly with the InAlyzer2 DEXA instruments.
Somni Scientific’s roots are in both human and research anesthesia. They have worked alongside the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies and are involved in advancement in animal research equipment.
