NuLine Cone and Plate Viscometer

Our NuLine Cone and Plate Viscometer is pre-calibrated, certificated, and ready to use straight out of the box and is used to measure viscosity in a wide range of process applications including analysis of paint, cosmetics, varnish, inks, resins, food, bitumen, oil, adhesives, and pharmaceuticals. It can be calibrated to operate with multiple cone sizes in the same machine and is accurate to within 1%, while its rugged design makes it ideal for use as an “At-Line” benchtop viscometer. The Nuline Viscometer was developed by ATAC Group, the makers of precision analyzer solutions that have driven efficiency, quality, and safety since 1993.

Two Temperature Versions

  • Low Temp — 41°F – 302°F
  • High Temp — Ambient to 482°F

Features

Ease of Use

This Cone and Plate Viscometer is pre-calibrated, certificated, and ready to use straight out of the box. The NuLine Viscometer can be calibrated to operate with multiple cone sizes in the same machine. Its rugged design makes it ideal for use as an ‘At-Line’, benchtop viscometer.

Adaptable & Accurate

With a range of digitally-controllable speeds, cone sizes (2, 5, 10, 20, 40, 100 Poise), and temperature ranges, the NuLine Cone & Plate Viscometer is fully adaptable. The PC interface software allows users to analyze and record results and run shear rate or time sweeps. It is highly accurate – better than 1% of span using standard calibration oils, making it the choice of material property analysts the world over.

General Features

Integrated stick mouse for software control

Precise beryllium-copper spring-based torque measurement

Simple automated cone calibration using NIST standard oils

Automated temperature calibration (using supplied kit)

Accuracy and Repeatability

Better than 1% of span using standard calibration oils

Reliable Viscometry

The rugged design of the NuLine range is based upon the original ICI Paint Cone & Plate viscometer, which in turn became the famous REL Viscometers. It meets the high demands of modern manufacturing environments, with both reliability and performance standards.
