The TRIBOTOUCH Clime tests specimens at temperature range from -40°C to +185°C. The hand abrasion tester reproduces the complex chemical and mechanical abrasion caused by the human hand on finished surfaces, printing, and labels. Quality and functionality of finished parts or lab samples are determined by the Tribotouch Clime according to international standards. The compact design and new features take hand abrasion testing to a new level. 

The Tribotouch Clime uses a “true” high dynamic linear motor with precise motion control for the movement of the piston (artificial finger) to accurately reproduce the real life abrasion caused by the human hand, providing the most advanced hand abrasion testing in real world conditions.

Movement of the artificial finger

The Tribotouch Clime uses a “true” high dynamic linear motor with precise motion control for the movement of the piston (artificial finger) to accurately reproduce the real life abrasion caused by the human hand.

Accurate and easy setup

Accurate X/Y/Z linear tables are used for the positioning of the test samples. The point of contact is clearly indicated by a laser beam.

Intuitive user interface 

The large touchscreen and intuitively-designed menu navigation based on pictographs makes it easy to use even without consulting the user manual. 

Express inspection slide/Sample changer

The Tribotouch Clime provides fast inspection without removing the specimen.

Developer menu

In order to reproduce the widest variety of human activities and motion sequences, the developer menu allows free adjustment of the speed, distance, and pause parameters.

Features for textiles

Textile rewinding for autonomous long-term tests and reproducible textile wetting with micro nozzles.

Compact design

Compact dimensions for operation in climatic chamber.
