SkyScan 2211 Multi-scale X-ray Nano-CT

The Sksycan 2211 Multiscale X-ray Nano-CT non-destructive, high resolution microtomography system covers the largest range of object sizes and spatial resolutions available in one instrument. The system has capacity for scanning and 3D non-destructive reconstruction of internal microstructures on object sizes > 8inches (200mm) as well as submicron resolution for small samples. Combining that with the world’s fastest hierarchical reconstruction software speeding the reconstruction of internal microstructures by 10-100 times compared to tradition algorithms and GPU accelerated reconstructions.

The system contains an ‘open-type’ (pumped) X-ray source with submicron spot size and two X-ray detectors: flat panel for large objects and 11Mpixel cooled CCD for scanning with the highest resolution. The system automatically adjusts for variable acquisition geometry and phase-contrast enhancements allows the best possible quality in relatively short scanning times.

The full range of Bruker MicroCT software is supplied, including Fast Volumetric Reconstruction and 2D/3D Quantitative Analysis and for Realistic 3D Visualization.  The supplied software also includes Volume Rendering and easy creation of realistic movies with virtual flight around and inside the reconstructed object’s microstructure.  Reconstruction results can be sent to mobile App Devise.

The full range of the software for 2D / 3D quantitative analysis and for realistic 3D visualization is also supplied with the scanner.
