    DEXA InAlyzer Applications

    Dual-energy absorptiometry (DEXA) is used to measure bone mineral density (BMD), bone mineral content (BMC), and body composition in laboratory animals and is excellent for longitudinal studies. Measurements can be obtained from the InAlyzer in as little as a minute using simple anesthesia without dissection. Small animals are commonly used by researchers in investigations that affect genetics, cell physiology, bone, and soft tissue.
