These compact and economical transilluminators incorporate many features
to improve imaging of all kinds of gels. The mirror stainless
steel reflectors provide a better illumination spread,
substantially enhancing the final image. The
fully adjustable UV safety cover with friction hinges
can be positioned to protect researchers when viewing, cutting,
or positioning gels. The long-life ultraviolet filter allows almost
unlimited usage at 312 nm and 365 nm. The stainless steel
filter frames and scratch resistant cover are designed for durability and
easy cleaning.
