Laue X-ray CCD Camera
The Dual Lens Coupled CoolView FDI Laue Camera has been designed for high resolution digital imaging of backscattered Laue diffraction patterns.

High resolution Laue X-Ray Imaging System - the dual camera system allows a digital backscattered Laue diffraction pattern to be recorded with a resolution of 2080 x 1392 pixels and 12-bit digitization at 10MHz. The X-ray beam passes through the camera in a straight lead-lined tube of 16mm diameter to protect the camera system from scattered X-rays. The image areas allow some overlap to permit image stitching and provide a single continuous image with an input dimension of 156mm x 104.4mm.

Features of CoolView FDI Laue X-Ray Cameras
  • Two high resolution digital cameras with dual relay lens coupling.
  • Fast Readout, 2080 x 1392 pixels with 12-bit digitization at 10MHz.
  • Unified housing with mounting plate.
  • On-chip pixel binning 1 x 1 to 63 x63 and 16-bit acquisition mode.
  • 16mm diameter center hole for beam line passage.
  • Large format scientific grade CCD
SPECIFICATIONS: CoolView FDI Laue X-ray Camera
Scintillator Aluminum foil light exclusion membrane in front of scintillator layer
Customed made GdOS:Tb with 0.1mm thickness designed for maximum X-ray detection efficiency in the range of 20keV. (Optimum sensitivity for other energy ranges are available upon request)
Relay Lens Relay lens coupling between scintillator and camera via front surface mirrors to remove camera from direct beam line. Relay lens: 17mm F#0.95.
CCD Sensor  Progressive Scan Interline Transfer CCD with typical 69% QE @ 550nm giving excellent sensitivity for the output phosphor screen.
CCD size Two 1392(h) x 1040(v) pixels, effective 2080(h) x 1392(v) pixels: 6.45um optical pixel size.
Resolution Input at scintillator - pixel size 75um x 75um @ 1x1 binning, 90um x 90um with image remapping (includes distortion correction algorithm and pixel sampling interpolation)
Binning On chip binning - user selectable: from 1 x 1 to 63 x 63
Integral shutter Integral electronic shutter - user selectable exposures from 5 microseconds to >10minutes
