The KUBSCAN is a portable, general purpose, phosphor storage plate (PSP) scanner designed for high contrast, medium and high resolution applications. Phosphor plates are durable and reusable, making them an economical and environmentally-friendly alternative to film units. Upon exposure to X-rays, the plate stores a latent image, which is scanned by KUBSCAN. Kubtec’s intuitive, feature-packed software then enables the user to enhance the digital image for immediate transmission or later use.
The DIGICOM NC is a dedicated X-ray imaging software that not only facilitates expedient image acquisition but also provides access to various image enhancement tools at your fingertips. It utilizes a variety of specialized imaging parameters that allow the user to enhance their images, such as:
- Image calibration based on plate line-pair resolution
- Density profiles
- Rulers (linear, angular, area and cross-measurement)
- Composite capabilities (combine two images into one)
- Call-out and text annotation features
- Enhancement filtering (3D, edge detect, emboss, gamma correction, pseudo color, sharpen, auto intensity and contrast)
- Adjustment of camera settings based on plate line pairs (up to 20)
- Magnification that allows effect application (high contrast, inversion, colorization)
- View images exposed on up to 14" x 17" plate in just 35 seconds
