Micro Photonics Inc. is looking for a Laboratory Technician .
Are you looking for a career where you can apply your scientific and problem solving skills while running a laboratory and visiting customer locations?
Micro Photonics is seeking to fill a newly created position of laboratory technician to run customer supplied samples on the Micro-CT systems in our laboratory in Allentown, PA. You will also be responsible for communicating with customers about their samples and answering questions about their systems. Some travel within the U.S. will be required.
Ideal candidates should possess a strong aptitude for problem solving, be highly motivated to take on new challenges, and work well individually and with a team. A background in bioengineering or the life sciences is necessary with experience in biomaterials characterization or computed tomography preferred. A key element of the applications specialist is to interface with customers, so good communications skills, both written and verbal, are required.
REQUIREMENTS

Bachelors or Masters Degree in bioengineering or life sciences

1 to 2 years of bone research or computed tomography experience preferred.
