The New High Resolution Color Coolview is the only camera to offer the high resolution capabilities of three separate 1360x1024 pixel CCDs with cooling to reduce noise during long integration-time acquisitions.
The three CCDs (red, green and blue) are exposed and read out simultaneously to provide full 24-bit RGB color images at up to 7.5 frames per second. The camera gives full resolution output in full color as a near real-time image of what is being seen under the microscope -- and makes scanning a sample, focusing and image capture easy.
The camera sensors are cooled to enable images to be acquired using integration times greater than 8 minutes to create clean, ultra low noise, full color, full resolution images from even the faintest fluorescent signals.
The image capture is virtually instantaneous and avoids the long download wait associated with many digital cameras.
The HR Color Coolview is designed for all bright field and fluorescence imaging applications, eliminating the need for two cameras. The speed, resolution and ease of use make this camera an outstanding choice. Bright, clean images of even the faintest fluorescent stained samples, in full color.
