Basic & 360 Degree Panoramic Microscopes

The MPM Basic Digital Video Microscope is a research grade video microscope system that can be completely powered by a laptop computer. The 1.3 megapixel color camera provides four times the resolution of a standard video camera with excellent color reproduction and high sensitivity over a wide range of magnifications. The standard zoom lens provides a 9-65x magnification range (other magnification ranges available). The variable intensity LED ring light provides uniform illumination in the laboratory, while the PC powered light bar provides bright white lighting when out in the field.

Video ToolBox software is included, providing an easy-to- use interface for image and movie capture, advanced labeling, annotation and measurement. Video ToolBox also supports plug-in such as FocusLock™ — the software tool for extending depth-of-focus. Even add GPS to automatically record the exact location an image is captured.

The MPM Basic Digital Video Microscope is DirectShow and TWAIN compliant, so it is compatible with hundreds of other imaging programs which support those formats.

2.0 Megapixel Camera Upgrade

Increase the size of your image by upgrading to the 2.0 Megapixel camera. The 2.0 megapixel camera has a 1600 x 1200 pixel CMOS sensor, and is fully DirectShow® and TWAIN™ compliant. The 1600 x 1200 pixel array updates at 10 frames/sec (40 frames/sec. at 800 x 600 pixels.)

3.1 Megapixel Camera Upgrade

The MPC 3.1 camera has a 3.2 um x 3.2 um pixel size CMOS sensor with 2048 x 1536 pixels. The full sensor array updates at 6 frames/sec (20 frames/sec at 1074 x 768 pixels.) The MPC 3.1 is fully DirectShow® and TWAIN™ compliant and includes the Video ToolBox software.

10X Objective and Tube

The 10X objective and tube is adaptable to the MPM stand and allows for higher magnification to be achieved. The 10X objective in combination with the 1.3 Megapixel camera produces a magnification of approximately 350X.

Halogen Illuminator

Create the perfect lighting for your sample with the halogen 150 watt dual fiber illuminator. Variable intensity controls give excellent illumination under any lighting conditions

MP-Lite

The M-Lite is a high intensity illuminator that does not produce infrared or ultraviolet light and will not heat up the sample. It is available in 2 or 4 Watt power.

FocusLock™

FocusLock performs real-time focus enhancement by monitoring the video image and capturing every portion of the image which is in focus. All you do is turn the focus knob; FocusLock monitors the video image and captures the in-focus portions. Finally, FocusLock returns an image which is entirely in focus.

MPM 360 Manual & MPM 360 Motorized Panoramic Microscope

The MPM-360 Panoramic Digital Video Microscopes add a new dimension to portable inspection. View the sample from above, or switch to an angled view — up to 45 degrees from any direction. The variable speed motor drives the viewing head to produce a 360° panoramic view (which can be recorded) for more complete inspection and documentation. The 1.3 megapixel color camera provides four times the resolution of a standard video camera with excellent color reproduction and high sensitivity over a wide range of magnifications. The standard zoom lens provides a 9 — 65x magnification range (other magnification ranges available). A 150 watt halogen lamp with dual fiber bundles provides ample light to completely illuminate the sample from all directions.

The included Video ToolBox software provides an easy-to- use interface for image and movie capture, advanced labeling, annotation and measurement. The camera also includes DirectShow and TWAIN drivers so it is compatible with most available imaging programs and databases
